 \, our theme this month is Open Book! A time to see clearly\, to step forw
 ard\, and to receive what is open and available. Like an open book\, every
 thing is before us—ready to be understood. Come and share a favourite s
 ong\, poem\, or short tale of 3-5 minutes written by someone other than yo
 urself. Or just come to listen and enjoy!\nAfter Hours is a monthly neighb
 ourhood coffeehouse with songs\, stories\, poems and prose on a rotating t
 heme. All are welcome to listen or join in. Note: this is not a literary o
 pen mic. Though local authors do participate\, we are all readers sharing 
 work we enjoy and admire. We meet on the third (sometimes fourth) Saturday
  of most months at 1:30  pm at Churchmouse Bookshop in St Mary’s\, Oak 
 Bay\, 1701 Elgin Rd.\, and are hosted  by Cynthia Woodman Kerkham and Yvo
 nne Blomer.
