UPDATE March 16, 2020: In order to protect the public, all public events in Anglican churches are cancelled, and the facilities closed to the public, for 60 days. Keep checking back, as we investigate ways to remain connected, and to reflect on our care for one another and creation, in other ways.

The Anglican Baptismal Covenant, and one of that church’s Five Marks of Mission, is the pledge that we will ‘strive to safeguard the integrity of God’s creation, and respect, sustain and renew the life of the Earth’ (see The Book of Alternative Services, p 159).
An emerging movement among Christians, practitioners of ‘watershed discipleship’ seek to take this commitment seriously in a new way. The term evokes three interrelated meanings: (1) an acknowledgement that we face a watershed moment in human history that demands serious, sustained engagement from Christians; (2) that we are called to be Jesus’ disciples right here, where we are, in our own literal watersheds; and (3) that creation itself, those very watersheds, has something to teach us about God, humankind, and deep interrelatedness and resiliency.
Five neighbouring parishes and ministries join together to reflect on our own watersheds, and to learn from them, from one another, and most importantly from God’s Spirit in these lands.
7:00pm on four Wednesday evenings during Lent:
Arrangements are being made for shared rides between parishes, so watch for details and contact the main office of one of the parishes above to indicate if you would like a ride to each venue.
