 utumn Songs with Le Lu and friends\nTickets $25 at the door\nAbout the Mus
 icians\nEmily Richardson is an avid performer of flutes both early and mod
 ern. Originally from Calgary\, she has played with ensembles across Canada
  including the Red Deer Symphony\, National Youth Orchestra of Canada\, an
 d Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra. Inspired by her love for Bach\, Emil
 y began studying the baroque flute during her Masters degree at UBC\, and 
 has since performed in the Toronto Bach Festival and with Victoria Baroque
 . She recently joined the Naden Band as a full-time member. In addition to
  performing\, Emily teaches flute to all ages\, and loves being able to "n
 erd out" about music and share her passion. Emily is grateful to be a part
  of St. Mary’s concert series\, getting to present some of her favourite
  chamber pieces with friends.\nJany Lu is a keyboard faculty at the Victor
 ia Conservatory of Music\, collaborative pianist with the Young Artist’s
  Collegium Program\, and a frequent collaborator with members of the Victo
 ria Symphony and University of Victoria. Recent appearances include Emergi
 ng Artists Alumni Series at UVic\, Carnival of Our Animals with the Victor
 ia Symphony\, Chemanius Classical Concert Series\, and Odyssey with the Pa
 cific Opera.\nOriginally from Toronto\, Ontario\, Le Lu has dedicated year
 s to the Toronto District School Board as an itinerant music instructor. A
 s a performer\, he has played with the National Ballet of Canada and made 
 guest appearances as Principal Clarinet for the Thunder Bay and Windsor Sy
 mphonies as well as the Hamilton Philharmonic. Le is currently a member of
  the Royal Canadian Navy's Naden Band. Playing occasionally with the Victo
 ria Symphony\, Victoria’s Island Chamber Winds\, and the Victoria Choral
  Society Orchestra. He has shared the stage with Coldplay's Chris Martin a
 nd Katy Perry\, the Barenaked Ladies’ Bassist Jim Creeggan\, flustists E
 mmauel Pahud and Greg Patillo. Le finds joy in exploring the scenic trails
 \, running\, the breathtaking views of Victoria\, as well as cooking. Le i
 s honoured to be sharing the music with friends as part of the concert ser
 ies at St Mary’s.\nYanina Kosivanova is a Ukrainian-Canadian soprano. Sh
 e holds a Music Performance Diploma from Camosun College and the Victoria 
 Conservatory of Music and has just completed her Bachelor’s degree in Cl
 assical Voice at the University of Victoria where she studied with Benjami
 n Butterfield. Yanina’s studies and performance has taken her across Can
 ada. She got to perform in Toronto\, Ontario while being a participant of 
 Ukrainian Art Song Summer Institute in 2022 and 2023\, as well as Orford\,
  Quebec while studying at Orford Musique in 2024. Yanina is an active perf
 ormer\, she frequently appears at concerts and community events\, particul
 arly within the Ukrainian cultural community. When she’s not making musi
 c\, you’ll likely find her on roller skates. She even coaches skating in
  her spare time.
