About the Performers
Amyrose McCue Gill, MM, PhD, is a dramatic soprano who has performed with opera companies on the Canada and US West Coast—most recently as Judit in Béla Bartók’s Bluebeard—and is a recitalist keen to share memorable and unusual music with diverse audiences across languages and genres.
Anna Cal, Hon MM, is a senior teacher at the Victoria Conservatory of Music and maintains a highly respected private studio. She teaches piano, piano pedagogy, and collaborative piano, and is a frequent performer in Victoria as a soloist and in collaboration with vocalists and instrumentalists.
