We believe that Liturgy, or the work we do together to worship God as a community, is a formative and radical action. Through scripture, sacrament and prayer we are formed further as the people of God.

As Anglicans, we have a keen sense of the long history of people who have been shaped by God’s presence in this way. We are connected to them, partly, through the way our practice of worship today has been influenced by the past. And yet our worship also looks to the future, with feet planted firmly in the present.

So in our past, present and future-oriented worship services we use the rites of the Book of Common Prayer, the Book of Alternative Services, and newer liturgies that continue to be shaped by our experience of God now, and our hope for the future.
