This Fourth Sunday of Advent falls in the middle of the Christmas Novena, nine days of focused reflection and prayer leading up to Christmas. Using the ancient ‘O Antiphons’ as a scaffolding, we will pray our intentions to open our soul, heart, mind and strength to the always-renewed coming of the Christ, God-with-us, Emmanuel.
Join us at 1701 Elgin Rd at 10am as we gather to listen for the Word of God and to pray, or join us live online as we stream the service.
NOTE: Recently we've been having trouble connecting to our streaming provider for the live stream on Sunday mornings. If we don't appear online right on schedule, please be patient, or check back here by 1:00pm to watch the recording. Thank-you for your patience!
Presider and Antiphonal cantor is The Rev'd Canon Craig Hiebert. Readings by Jackie Hiebert, Pauline Samoszynski and The Rev'd John Macquarrie. Prayers by Jackie Hiebert. Music by Pamela Whiston, Bob Gill and St Mary's Singers, including Alexa Ste Marie, Rain Mahendra, and guest Rachel Bergen.
For those who wish to worship in person, you can read more about how things look at St Mary's under Phase 3 of BC's Restart Plan by following this link. Things do look a little different, but whether we worship in person or online, we worship together.
