Music, Poetry and Art for Passiontide

Join us for the final concert in our the Lent Concert Series for 2026, where local performers contribute their gift of music to accompany us on our pilgrimage towards the Light. Admission is by donation, supporting the work of the Victoria Hospice Bereavement Fund.

• Sara and Eric Partridge present “Poetry and Art for Lent: Reflection”.
• Marnie Setka-Mooney, soprano, Sara Partridge, mezzo-soprano, accompanied by pianist Jim Hill, perform Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's setting of the Stabat Mater sequence—an ancient 12-part hymn to Mary, the mother of Jesus. 'Stabat Mater' comes from the first line of the first movement, Stabat mater dolorosa, 'the sorrowful mother was standing'.
