Joining Joyce on piano,  Jany Lu and Du Xiaofei.

Joyce Tsai is a first-year Master’s student in Violin Performance at the University of Victoria, where she studies with Ann Elliott-Goldschmid on a full scholarship. She is grateful for the opportunity to perform in this church and hopes her artistry will inspire reflection, peace, and joy.

Jany Lu is a keyboard faculty at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, collaborative pianist with the Young Artist’s Collegium Program, and a frequent collaborator with members of the Victoria Symphony and University of Victoria. Recent appearances include Emerging Artists Alumni Series at UVic, Carnival of Our Animals with the Victoria Symphony, Chemanius Classical Concert Series, and Odyssey with the Pacific Opera.

Du Xiaofei, born in Beijing, China, received his Bachelor’s degree from the Tianjin Conservatory of Music. He later pursued further studies at the Beijing Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and the Musikhochschule Mannheim in Germany. He is currently studying collaborative piano at the University of Victoria under the guidance of Professor Arthur Rowe.

Once again, we are pleased that donations will support the work of the Victoria Hospice Bereavement Fund.
