Wednesdays this Autumn are all about Community and the Arts! Thanks to the great success of our inaugural After Hours Arts series in the Spring, we’re launching a full season this time around: an evening of soup, workshops in several art forms, and community.

After Hours Arts: Autumn Edition will be held on September 12 & 19, October 3, 10 & 17, and November 7, 14 & 21. Our three facilitators from the Spring will be returning, offering workshops in poetry, music improvisation and storytelling, plus November will see the addition of a new group digging into the art of listening and its impact on nurturing our community life.

We’ve adjusted the event times based on the experience and feedback from the Spring series: soup supper starts at 6:00 pm, workshops begin at 7:00 pm, and we aim to wrap up by 8:30 pm each evening.

Check out the event page for a full schedule and workshop descriptions. You can pre-register if you like (it helps us in making the soup!), but we're encouraging drop-ins as well. Cost: what you can afford—recommended $10-$20 per evening. If you can give more, it paves the way for others—our aim is to make these workshops accessible to everyone.
