After much hard work by all of us in BC to reduce the spread of COVID-19, St Mary's has carefully re-opened for public worship and limited events as of 12 July 2020.

In order to keep visitors safe, we have implemented a safety plan that you can Download from the link below. In short, we have taken careful measures to:

  • Maintain physical distancing at all time (limiting numbers to 40 people inside, and 15 separately in the outdoor Memorial Garden, weather permitting)
  • Provide hand washing/sanitizing stations throughout the space
  • Reminding visitors to check their own health and risk level before joining us in person
  • Carefully clean the space before and after each event.

There will be some things from which we must still refrain: no congregational singing yet, and the Eucharist will be shared in bread only for the time being.

In addition, we will still stream the services live, with a recording available immediately after in the same place on the website.

The Churchmouse Bookshop has also re-opened, again with measures to ensure clean surfaces, physical distancing and contact tracing.

So, whether in person or online, we continue to worship and serve our community together.

Praise God, who inspires us to remain kind, calm, and safe!
